Math has truly been a lifelong passion and interest. I am the founder of IL Middle School Math Olympiad - you can read more about that below!

I have been participating in 4-5 math competitions a year since I was in 5th grade and have been on a formal team since 6th grade when I came to the Lab School. I was chosen as my team’s oralist, which means that I’m in charge of explaining our answers to the judges when we compete. Being an oralist has allowed me to become a better leader and communicator. In 2023, I won the oralist prize in the state competition.
